Technology Laboratories at Helwan University

Establishment of Robotics Laboratory:
In 2014, and as a joint technical and social project between T.E.S and the faculty of Engineering at Helwan University, a new robotics laboratory with a total surface area of 2,000 m² has been established and financed by T.E.S and Helwan University. T.E.S and Helwan University have equipped and installed the laboratory with the latest robots and tools showing the different practical applications in the world of robotics and automation.

Establishment of Machining & Metal Forming Laboratory:
A new CNC laboratory has been established and fully financed between the above mentioned parties in 2014 inside the campus of the faculty of engineering. This laboratory is equipped with the latest CNC milling, turning, punching and much more metal forming and material removing machines.

Establishment of  3D Printing Laboratory:
As one of the latest technologies in the world, in 2014 a third laboratory in the field of 3D printing has been established and fully financed as well between the 2 mentioned parties, inside the campus of the faculty of Engineering. Nowadays, Helwan University engineering students, as well as others can create a complete product model, in a single process using 3D printing technology. The basic principles include materials cartridges, flexibility of output, and translation of code into a visible pattern.

Establishment of Mechatronics Laboratory:
As a new field in the international sciences, T.E.S and Helwan University have agreed to establish and develop a new laboratory of mechatronics inside the campus of the faculty of engineering. The laboratory was officially inaugurated in 22/09/2014.
